Graham Graham earned All-America Second Team honors from the NCBWA, to go with his First-Team nod from Daktronics.

RINDGE, N.H. (May 31, 2013) – Junior right-hander Trevor Graham (Sebastian, Fla.) of the East Region champion Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-America Second Team, as announced earlier in the week by the NCBWA.

Graham is one of two Northeast-10 players and three East Region players to earn All-America honors from the NCBWA. Both St. Thomas Aquinas senior catcher Mike Russo and Adelphi senior reliever Dillon McNamara were named to the All-America Second Team as well.

Named the East Region Pitcher of the Year by both Daktronics and the ABCA, Graham was nothing short of dominant for the Ravens in his first season in Rindge after transferring in from Florida Tech. With a flock of professional scouts on-hand at every start, Graham led a pitching staff which ranks first in the NCAA (through the regional tournaments) in both strikeouts per nine innings (9.2) and hits allowed per nine innings (6.91) by ranking among the top 50 pitchers in the nation in ERA (1.76), strikeouts per nine innings (10.03), strikeouts (114), hits allowed per nine innings (5.98), strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.33), WHIP (0.84) and wins (9). The most impressive of those numbers among his peers are strikeouts, WHIP and hits allowed per nine innings, as he ranks among the top five in the country in all three. In addition, he finished in the top 10 in the Northeast-10 Conference in innings pitched (110.1), strikeouts (123), strikeouts per nine innings (10.03), ERA (1.63) and wins (10). He led the league in both innings pitched and wins. Overall, in his 110.1 innings, he allowed 28 runs (20 earned) on 76 hits and 21 walks to post a 10-2 record and hold opponents to a .194 batting average.

Graham earns his second All-America nod of the spring, as he was named to the Daktronics All-America First Team. He was also a consensus All-East Region First Team selection, and is a finalist for the Tino Martinez Award and the Josh Willingham Award, both of which are awarded by College Baseball Lineup. Graham was the Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Year and an All-Northeast-10 First Team selection.

The East Region champion Ravens (37-19) wrapped up the 2013 season by finishing tied for fifth in the nation after being ousted from the National Finals after three games. The team has won at least 35 games in each of the last eight seasons and topped 30 wins in 12 consecutive campaigns. The regional title is the sixth in program history (2010, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2003).
