As a Freshman in
2012: Made nine appearances on the mound for the Ravens,
including three starts...Posted a 1-1 record with a 4.72 ERA over
13.1 innings...Allowed 15 runs (seven earned) on 12 hits, walked
11, hit three batters, struck out 13 and held opponents toa
.226 batting average (12-for-53)...Started in his collegiate
debut, went 1.2 innings, allowed one run on two hits and walked
three on his way to a no-decision in the first game of a
doubleheader against Chestnut Hill on 2/25...Pitched a scoreless
eighth with two strikeouts, working around a one-out single at
Philadelphia on 3/10...Pitched a scoreless ninth, striking out the
side around a hit batter and a walk against Nyack on
3/15...Started, fired seven innings, allowed two unearned runs on
three hits, walked one and struck out a season-high seven to pick
up his first career win in the second game of a doubleheader
against Pace on 4/7.
