As a Freshman in
2011: Made 13 appearances on the mound for the Ravens,
including three starts...Posted a 1-1 record with one save, one
complete game and a 2.53 ERA over 32 innings...Allowed 13 runs
(nine earned) on 37 hits, walked seven, hit a batter, threw a wild
pitch, struck out 25 and held opponents to a .282 batting average
(37-for-131)...Made his collegiate debut, started, tossed 3.2
innings, allowed one run on seven hits, struck out one and did not
factor in the decision in the second game of a doubleheader against
C.W. Post on 3/5...Started, chucked eight innings, allowed three
runs (one earned) on eight hits, walked one and struck out four to
earn his first career win against Molloy on 3/19...Threw three
shutout innings to finish the game, allowed four hits, walked one
and struck out a career-high six to notch his first career save
against Bentley on 3/27...Struck out all three batters he faced to
post a perfect sixth inning in the second game of a doubleheader
against Saint Michael's on 4/21...Threw a scoreless inning out of
the bullpen, allowed one hit and struck out one in the second game
of a doubleheader at Adelphi on 4/30...Tossed a perfect ninth,
including two strikeouts, to finish the game at Merrimack on
5/6...Threw a complete game, allowed three runs (two earned) on
seven hits, walked two and struck out four, but was saddled with
the loss against Southern Connecticut State in the NCAA
Championship East Regional on 5/21.
