Bio
As a Freshman in
2011: Appeared in 10 games on the mound for the Ravens,
including one start...Posted an 0-0 record with one save and a 4.05
ERA over 13.1 innings...Allowed six runs on eight hits, walked 11,
hit a batter, struck out 15 and held opponents to a .170 batting
average (8-for-47)...Made his collegiate debut and struck out the
side in order in the ninth to finish the game against Felician on
3/12...Made his first career start, went 3.2 innings, allowed one
run on two hits, walked four, struck out one and did not factor in
the decision in the second game of a doubleheader against Molloy on
3/18...Entered the game with one out and the tying run at the plate
in the ninth, allowed a two-out RBI single to score an inherited
runner, but struck out the batters on either side of the single to
nail down his first career save in the second game of a
doubleheader against Southern Connecticut State on 4/2...Did not
allow a run or a hit over the final 1.1 innings, walked one and
struck out two to finish the first game of a doubleheader at
American International on 4/9...Threw a scoreless, hitless ninth
inning, walked two and struck out two to finish the second game of
a doubleheader at New Haven on 5/7...Threw 1.1 scoreless innings,
allowed one hit and struck out one against Adelphi in the
Northeast-10 Conference Championship on 5/13.
