As a Sophomore in
2011: Appeared in 11 games on the mound for the Ravens,
including four starts...Posted a 2-2 record and a 3.45 ERA over
31.1 innings...Allowed 17 runs (12 earned) on 36 hits, walked
seven, hit two batters, threw two wild pitches, struck out 29 and
held opponents to a .277 batting average (36-for-130)...Retired all
six batters he faced to pitch perfect eighth and ninth innings with
one strikeout in the second game of a doubleheader against
Dominican (N.Y.) on 2/26...Started, fired eight innings, allowed
one run on four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out seven to
pick up the win in the first game of a doubleheader against C.W.
