Bio

Finished his career as the program's all-time leader in strikeouts (261), earned-run average (1.78) and innings pitched (294.0). Also left Franklin Pierce second in program history in  wins (25) and appearances (52).

Set program records for wins (11, 2008) and innings pitched (112.0, 2008) in a single season. Recorded the second-most strikeouts (113, 2008), second-best earned-run average (1.36, 2008) and sixth-best earned-run average (1.73, 2007) in a single season in program history.

As a Junior in 2008: Daktronics and ABCA/Rawlings Northeast Region Pitcher of the Year and Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year. Consensus All-Region and NE-10 All-Conference first team pick. Made 17 appearances on the mound, posting a school-record 11 wins in 15 starts and also recording two saves. Led the Northeast-10 in innings pitched (112.0) and wins (11) and finished second in ERA (1.36), opposing batting average (.183) and strikeouts (113). Struck out 10 while allowing one run on three hits in a season-opening complete-game win over Wilmington (3/2). Tossed a complete-game shutout against Saint Rose (5/1), striking out 11 and allowing only four hits. Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts in seven innings in the NE-10 Tournament opener versus Bentley (5/7), then came back to earn the save with 1.2 scoreless innings in the Tournament title game against Southern Connecticut (5/11). Named to the NCAA Northeast Regional All-Tournament team after earning two wins and allowing three earned runs in 14.0 innings of work. Allowed one run in six innings to earn the win in the Regional opener against C.W. Post (5/15), then came back on three days rest and struck out 10 in eight innings to clinch the Regional title versus Bryant (5/19).
2008 Statistics

As a Sophomore in 2007: All-Northeast-10 first team honoree. Made 15 appearances and nine starts, posting a 6-0 record and 61 strikeouts in 78 innings. Struck out nine batters and allowed only one run in seven innings against Molloy (3/17). Named NE-10 Pitcher of the Week (4/17) after going 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 11 innings of work, including tying a season-high with nine strikeouts in six scoreless innings against Merrimack (4/9). Allowed only one hit in eight innings in his final start of the season, an eight-inning effort against Angelo State (5/26) in the Division II Championships.

As a Freshman in 2006: Appeared in three games on the mound, posting a 3.38 ERA in 2 2/3 innings of work. Made his first collegiate appearance against Post (3/4), working a scoreless inning with one strikeout.
