Bio

Steve Hennessey, MBA G’15 has rejoined Franklin Pierce University as Associate Athletic Director starting in June 2024.  Hennessey spent 9 years in the Franklin Pierce Admissions office and returned to FPU after working 2 years as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Keene State.
 
Hennessey is no stranger to FPU Athletics, as he worked as the Admissions/Athletic Liaison during his tenure at FPU as well as a coach with the Women’s Ice Hockey team for 10 seasons 2013-2023, Men’s Soccer for 7 seasons (2013-2019) and Women’s Soccer for 4 seasons (2013-2016).  He also spent a season with fellow NE10 member St. Michael’s College Men’s Soccer team in 2008 as a volunteer goalkeeper coach. 
 
Originally from Essex Jct., Vermont, Hennessey is a former two-sport NCAA Athlete at Western New England University competing in Hockey and Soccer.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management from WNE in 2008, followed by the completion of his Master of Business Administration in Sports Management from FPU in 2015.
