Franklin Pierce Athletics Ranks 5th in NE10 Presidents' Cup Standings After Fall Season

MANSFIELD, Mass. (12/4/24) — The Franklin Pierce University athletics department finished 5th in the Northeast-10 Conference Presidents' Cup standings following the fall season.  
 
Adelphi (69 points) leads second place Bentley (68.5 points) by just half a point. Southern New Hampshire is close behind in third with 67.5 points.   
 
In the Men's Sports Cup, Franklin Pierce is out to an early lead over the field with 25.0 points, edging Bentley (24.5), New Haven (24.0), SNHU (24.0) and Assumption (23.0). The Ravens had a pair of top-three finishes in men's and women's soccer, while also winning the NE10 Women's Golf Championship. 

On the women's side, Franklin Pierce is tied for 6th with Assumption with 33.0 points. Adelphi leads with 48.0 points, while Bentley (44.0) and SNHU (43.5) are close behind. A first-place finish in women's soccer, a second-place finish in volleyball and a second-place finish in women's tennis led the Panthers to the top of the women's standings.   

The NE10 Presidents' Cup is presented annually at the conclusion of the academic year, signifying overall athletic excellence in the league. The honor is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points based on finishes in the regular season standings from all of its programs competing in league championships.
