155 Franklin Pierce Student-Athletes Named to NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll

RINDGE, N.H. (July 25, 2012) -- Franklin Pierce University recently had 155 of its student-athletes named to the Spring 2012 Northeast-10 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. The 155 student-athletes came from 15 teams on the Rindge campus that compete in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Johannah Leedham & Great Britain to Face Team USA on ESPN2 Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

RINDGE, N.H. (July 17, 2012) – Former Franklin Pierce University women’s basketball standout Johannah Leedham (Ellesmere Port, England) and Great Britain on Wednesday will face Team USA in an exhibition, which can be seen live at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The contest will be a tune-up for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming Summer Olympics in London.
Trio of Raven Student-Athletes Named to 2012 NE-10 Spring All-Academic Teams

RINDGE, N.H. (July 3, 2012) -- A trio of Franklin Pierce University student-athletes were recently named to the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference Spring All-Academic Team for their respective sport. The trio included softball senior Jamie Verner (Natick, Mass.), men's lacrosse junior Ben McDannell (Morrisville, Pa.) and baseball junior Ryan Thompson (Calgary, Alberta).
Volleyball, Women's Basketball & Women's Tennis Earn NE-10 Team Academic Excellence Awards

(June 21, 2012) -- A trio of Franklin Pierce University athletic teams (volleyball, women's basketball and women's tennis) earned the 2011-12 Northeast-10 Conference Team Academic Excellence Award for their respective sport, as announced on Thursday by the league. The three Raven squads were tied for the second highest total in the league.

(April 12, 2012) -- Franklin Pierce University women's basketball standout Marielle Giroud (Martigny, Switzerland) was named to the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic Team on Wednesday, as announced by the league. It marks the second-straight season Giroud was selected to the squad.
